it's too easy I'm cruising it, up on all 3 cards, I don't need to be silly and mix it here :KO:

seriously, I will concede Oliver and others then, that I am not a fan of Harrison, although I started out as one. Cos he's a crap fighter....in fact more of a non-fighter. The way he dismissed the challenge of a late stand in, 3 weeks' notice no less, in Danny Williams, then proclaimed on national TV that he would be world champ the year after, and "undisputed" world champ the year after that was fcking disgusting, when a touch of humility - for once - would have gone a long way.
The fact is Audley Harrison is a complete gob-sh*te with little fighting heart and a big mouth.....it probably worked in his favour having one arm...gave him something to think about, as with 2 hands he'd have probably done just enough to dissuade Sprott from gassing himself and leaving himself so vulnerable at the end.

i didn't see the fight, other than walking past a big screen repeating it at about 3AM in a casino

it was rd12 and Audley had (seemingly) just turned orthodox, and was throwing what seemed like a 15 punch combination, all with his left hand, with this strangely un-Audley-like aggressive (almost tigerish) expression on his face.

I laughed my ass off. it was all too unreal at that stage of the night. I turned away and missed the knockout which must have come mere seconds later

He usually fights with no arms :TU:

Oliver makes some good points but even taking Audley's injury into account he's had more chances than Nicolas Bendtner......I personally have had enough of him and talk of a world title is just ridiculous.

Well done on showing some bravery though, Audley.

my recollection of that moment is about round 8 or 9. It wasn't seconds from the end. Believe me, in the last round of that fight Sprott...already ahead on 3 cards, took the fight to the beaten Audley and looked for the KO himself, while Audley did fck all.
It was to prove Sprott's undoing, as possibly sensing Sprott's exhaustion - and why shouldn't Sprott go hell for leather as Audley is such a reluctant participant - Audley decided he'd try throwing a punch. There was nothing "tidy" or "straight" about it....it almost ended up more of a back-hander, it was a very awkward looking, lucky, bingo punch.

I'm sorry but this is no longer a fact. The middle bit was disproved by him going ten rounds with an injury and then sparking his opponent late on. If he had no fighting heart, he wouldn't have been there to throw the punch which was heard the world over. Well, five rows back in Ally Pally anyway.
