i thinks its simple.....go at him from the off
kessler in his last fight looked finished , he coulnd get his punched off and couldnt get out of the way either.
he wanted to throw the punch but his body wouldnt respond , froch should start fast and attempt to land big punches early.
if he starts fast and dis-heartens kessler then he can force a stoppage as going by the ward fight i dont think kessler has it anymore.
froch has stamina and a big punch , dont let kessler into the fight and its 2-0 for froch
prediction - froch will win the fight by 3-4 points but get robbed

I think if Froch trys to box with Kessler he will come off second best, Froch is so much more effective when he is walking forward throwing, not trying to box.

He needs to get in amongst it and war it out like he did against Pascal.
There are not many who can trench it with Frochy. Get on him and stay on him til the war is won.
Beer chilling nicely, mates coming round at 7 bells for a pre fight few looseners and away we go. Can`t wait. Only downside is the lack of a quality undercard. It`s a pathetic undercard really.

Wouldn't be so sure, it could be that Kessler was just up against an exceptional talent last time out, and will really fancy his chances here - Carl wll be right in front of him, unlike Ward who had him chasing shadows all night.boxerbob wrote:i thinks its simple.....go at him from the off

The mental toughness that Kessler showed against an unbeatable Joe Calzaghe will be an even match for Froch. I can't see Carl outboxing him, but it could be that Kessler has never faced a harder punch than the right hand of Carl Froch. Great fight!

I completely agree.boxerbob wrote:i thinks its simple.....go at him from the off
However in my opinion Froch has a tendancy to get nervous just before he goes to the ring and thus it takes a few rounds for him to get into the fight.
Re: frochs tactics for kessler
I`m convinced kessler is a shot fighter. Froch has to take it too Kessler from the off, for the full 3mins of each round .. I think he`d get Kessler out of there before the 3rd
But if he tries to outbox Kessler. Then Kessler can stick around untill the later rounds before falling apart.
