WBO NABO
I was just wondering why we use the description "WBO NABO" in the database for the NABO title. We don't use "WBA NABA", "WBC NABF" or "IBF USBA" for the other major North American titles so why a different approach?
Re: WBO NABO
AFAIK, the NABF is (Supposedly) a separate entity like the EBU and OPBF. For
awhile it actually was separate during the Graciano Rohiganni fiasco, but then
voted to re-align itself after the settlement. The USBA existed before the IBF
and was affiliated with the WBA but later broke away and formed the IBF. The
NABA and NABO I think are more “Paper” title made up by their respective
owners to make more money.
