Brian Magee Vs Carl Froch - Predictions

Post by lvlarc »

I'm glad to see this fight has been made, i've watched everyone of Froch's televised fights and he looks a good prospect.

I'm routing for Froch to win by an early stoppage :TU:

Magee's chin is shocking, Froch wins big and early. Froch in 4.

Not sure. Surely they would have had to have weighed them in last night if it was happening?

If it does happen I'd say Froch in 6th.

Froch by late knockout or points. If it happens of course.

Froch by stoppage, or if Magee does his usual grabs on for dear life, then a points win Froch. Carl wins either way.

If it does happen - Good job everyone :TU:

But it's not on Sky's, Hennessy's or BBC's website.

It's the right size step up for Froch. I reckon mid to late rounds TKO. Magee will be trying hard to avoid the humiliation of getting turned over by a novice.

Of course this depends on Froch being in good shape.

Froch about round 8, I haven't seen any confermation the fight is going ahead other than on boxrec anyone else seen anything to confirm. If it goes ahed and froch as we suspect wins then it will do wonders for his Europian ranking he is 11th and Magee is 4th. Gutsy move by Magee too.

I've always got the impression that Froch is always in good shape. I remember reading an interview where he basically said he's put the rest of life on hold, including women, to achieve his goals.

Now of course that could be a load of old hornswaggle, but he does seem a very focussed and dedicated chap, certainly has the attitude of a champion, whether the rest falls into place or not, who knows.

Yea, Froch said to BBC :
"I would knock him clean out with only 20 minutes preparation on the pads. I am that kind of fighter,"

That's if Magee has the balls to fight him.

Let's see Froch in with a good fighter instead of talking the talk.

Mark Woolnaugh was a good fighter at that stage of Carl's career, as was Adamu.
