froch should try and get the fight as far away from germany as possible

america seems the most neutral choice

How about Armenia? I'm sure Mick H could be talked into that fairly easily.

Seriously, they should hold it at a holiday resort in Spain in late summer, you'll get the Brit and German holiday makers there, and they can fight over towels in the day time, and ringside deck chairs in the evening.

I wouldn't mind the USA - it's then fair on both fighters. Feck Germany and Switzerland.

How about Copenhagen? I always wanted to go there.

More realistically, maybe somewhere like Amsterdam. Mainland Europe, but the Dutch hate the Germans.

it's good that they have a fallback plan of neutral ground.

it certainly won't draw the crowd it could have though.

at least froch is now saying pulling out is not an option. i felt it was a mistake of him to say he'd pull out, a big mistake to actually say it in front of someone who would quote him.

it has to be in Europe. They would never sell it in the US even if it was an option

This would VERY EASILY sell out the O2 Arena in Dublin if it was held there.

That's a good shout, actually. I like the idea of a pisshead holiday resort though.

Failing that, Sheffield. Yorkshire folk hate those from Notts. Germans too. And everyone else, come to think of it.

Abraham and Sauerland probably believe Ireland is part of England.

Wouldnt Dublin be very pro-Froch?I could understand AA not wanting that as much as Froch not wanting Switzerland

I am praying for this to be in Dublin. I think we may see Andy Lee / Darren Barker on the undercard because that will definitely get the crowd into the arena.

Ireland would not be pro Froch. It would be neutral but I would be pro AA

Is that because of Froch or because he is English?I seem to remember Hatton saying he had a massive following in Ireland

They would be neutral because Froch has never fought in Ireland and he has never fought on RTE. so they wouldn't know him that well. He also has never annoyed any Irish fighters,so they wouldn't hate him. The Irish fans would want to see a good fight and wouldn't care who wins.

What about Paris?
Not bad for both sides fans to get to and plenty of Armenians to keep AA happy

I think most Irish fans would be supporting Froch. I know Irish guys that have been to Nottingham and London to see him fight.

I'd support Froch if the fight was in Dublin but I could see there being a lot of people supporting AA aswell, would definitely go to it though. Barker vs Lee on the undercard and 10,000 tickets would be sold in no time. It all makes perfect sense. :OhYes:

I don't think he had as big of a following over here as he would like to think. He is good friends with Bernard Dunne so maybe he though Bernards fans were his fans also. I supported Hatton depending on who he was fighting, I wanted , Tsyzu, PBF and Pacquaio to win in their respective fights for example.
