I spoke to Josh Wale a while back he was interested in a lower weight Prizefighter. Helps that he's also signed with Matchroom.

Cuban kid is Alexei Acosta http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxerjBacca wrote:Who's the Cuban kid?

Looks like a talent. Bit of footage on Youtube if you want to have a gander.
Carl was touted to be a top pro before he even went into the paid ranks and has looked really impressive so far. He is under the guidance of Barry McGuigan. Definitely one to put in the top prospects book, with Quigg.

Re: Pizefighter super bantamweight!
i know jack about him? why do you always assume i just look at records and pick who will win? rather strange!! have seen him on friday fight night twice i think, n iv watched quigg twice, frampton gets hit too much and likes a tear up a bit too muchDeno1986 wrote:So what are you basing your prediction on exactly? I'm guessing it's because Quigg is a big puncher but you know jack about Frampton, apart from looking at his record so that constitutes a Quigg KO.MrBoxingUK2 wrote:slapbangwhallop wrote: Not at any stage I assure you - Frampton would have put him to sleep before he turned pro never mind now.we'll have to agree to disagree then
quigg didn't need no amatuer experience and he would still do frampton inside the distance

Scott Quigg fight isn't on Sky. They're streaming it on their site though.

From what i haer he is in it, and imo Wins its...
Would love to take part am still thinking about it but i aint the Biggest Bantam mind Super Bantam not only that you get an extra 2 pounds as well, so you could have Feather Weights seeing they only have to make 8.12.....

imagine if gary davies was in it aswell gary davies vs craig lyon in prizefighter be a nasty 3 rounds of fighting that i dont think it would last 3 rounds tho the pair of them would be throwing big bombs from rnd 1demolitiondaley wrote:Hope Craig Lyon is in it, he would do really well

imo No way in the world will he be in it, is he really?? way way to much to lose. I know after weighing 8.6 he puts on maybe 10lb or so, he is also big for a Bantam but these weighing 8.12 the day before he wont be the biggest or the Strongest..
The Prize Fighter format is made for Josh Wale

If it is, I am really surprised. While I think he has a good chance of doing well, it is by no way an easy 32k. There are some guys out there who will push him all the way.
I think he should stick to defending his belts.
Has there ever been a reigning british/euro champ compete in prizefighter?
