There was a K-1 fight between Mark Hunt and I think Jason Suttee, they stood there literally going punch for punch, throwing a punch then dropping their hands and inviting the other to tee off. Crazy stuff.harshfriller wrote:Indeed, both were hit with some big bombs, they just shook it off and kept bangin, there was not a single sign of quitting from both fightersdberry wrote:Not like that and go twelve rounds any way.harshfriller wrote: That fight defined the true meaning of a "toe to toe", or a "punch for punch" fight!

Re: David Tua
although the tua - ike fight had more skill, the leapai - cronje fight was a massive slugfest that was one of the best ever aussie fights.
i'd like to see tua fight 2 fighters like chambers before fighting a klit.

David needs to forget about going after the fighting doctors, as he does not (never did) have the tools & skills to deal with good competent jabbers.
He needs to somehow get a route to fighting David Haye, as I believe that is a winnable fight for him.

Barrett is a journeyman at this stage.

You're right, thanks Rogue. Two tough nuts (Jason Sutee was a hard nut as well).Rogue wrote:Mark Hunt V Ray Sefo was the K1 fight.....
Re: David Tua
All good , yeah Suttie was and still is hard nut. Pretty skilled fighter who gave much-much bigger men in K1 a good hiding on a regular basis... shame a very bad neck injury ended his career.

Do you know the governor of his prison?Marlin wrote:He should fight Ike.
