Think Ian Napa would be a good pick if he went in it, although a bantam he's campaigned at superbantam and is strong enough to hold his own againts heavier fighters. Remember him having heavy spars with lightweights Lee Meager.

Yes and he actually got down to that weight to fight! When he first come back think he was near hitting the 10st mark when he started sparring!

Well, quite odd its on this date. I thought Barry Hearn would have tried to negotiate for Sky to show his fighter box for the world title (Sosnowski).

I interviewed Lyon before his fight with Salvini in January for the Liverpool Echo.

He briefly mentioned Davies but there was no animosity on Lyon's behalf. He claimed that Davies was not on his immediate radar due to the fact he had lost his british title. Lyon would like to be fighting for domestic honours before the end of the year and I think a showdown with Davies could only be arranged if one of the various straps was on the line.

I hear he is looking pretty good and training hard in the gym

but those of us who would support him, are likely to worry if he's past it, if he can get to the weight without leaving it in the gym (walks around 9 1/2 stone at least), and if the 4 round sprint format really suits his style.

Originally it was Pickering vs. Hyland for the EU Featherweight belt but Pickering withdrew his interest presumably to focus on Prizefighter. Patrick will still be fighting for it in the summer.

Wale would be so suited to the format imo. High workrate, doesnt give his opponants a minute and has a sturdy chin.

I heard they enjoyed their time over with ye as well.

I assume you mean Portlaoise - but hopefully not the POW camp for republican prisoner! ;)

Is Kris Hughes definately in it?

billy is hoping to make the superbantam limit, so far he has had both of his legs and both of his arms amputated, and he is down to 15st 7lbs, he is having his penis off tomorrow, that will take him down to 15st 6lbs 15oz ... then it is all going to be down to sheer hard work in the gymnasium. what are you down to now Billy? .... :OhYes:

Wayne should be retired.... BUT, it is his choice and I think its as good way as any to see what he has left. He's been clammouring for a fight a long time.
