What are people's thoughts on this event this evening?

After looking through the records of the others it really should be an easy win for Herbie Hide, even allowing for the short format.

I dont remember another one of these nights with such a short priced favourite.

I'm looking forward to it simply because I'm expecting some knockouts for once.

On paper,Herbie is in a completely different class to them all.In fact,Herbie v most of the others wouldnt even be sanctioned by the board under normal circumstances.

Corbett and Krence should get through to the semis

Corbett knows what to do and can catch Herbie if he sticks his chin out.

as for Krence, im hoping the euro stoppage recently was just a payday and he's still got something in the tank

Herbie is the big draw and is fave

but the fave rarely wins and ....im going for Krencey :box:

krence and hide are the only 2 in the competition who KO people with straight shots, this will be the key tonight, while brrok/corbett et al are telegraphing their wide wild hooks, herbie will stick one down the pipe...straight right then left hook...... curtains !!

come on herbie, former glebe house school old boy !!!

Herbie is favourite but we've all seen how prize fighter can pan out.

Would have put a few quid on Hide but the odds were crap.

That was not a fighter. They took him from the street and slapped gloves on him.

Krence's line was brilliant

Imagine if he had of been in with Herbie, it would have been dangerous.

Well i've tipped Dickinson to win it, so that means he'll probably lose first time out :KO:

Leon Williams' corner are very "friendly" with each other. He's talked such a good fight he's bound to be a failure.

Dickinson won that 1st round, Williams wasn't sure how to get past that jab.
