Pedro, who was this KAZ fighter Ruslan MUSINOV and how did their two fights go. He must be something special if he beat Mario. Also I noticed Enrique Carrion. Is this the same Carrion who won a world amateur title (1989 bantam)....a good site is http://www.gbrathletics.com/sport/boxing.htm...

Musinov and Carrion

Post by Venceremos »

In 2003, Musinov lost at first round in Bangkok World Championship, also lost 24-25 against Vicente Escobedo (USA) in Dual Meet USA Vs Kazhastan. In 2004, Serik Yeleyov won "his" Kazhastanian place for Athens Olympic Games, but lost 26-40 against Amir Khan at semifinals.

Enrique Carrión was silver medalist at 57 kg. in 1993 Tampere World Championships, and gold medalist at 54 kg. in 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1995 and 1998 Cordova Cardin Tournaments, also gold at 57 kg. in 2000. Yosvani Aguilera won "his" Cuban place for Sydney Olympic Games and lost at quarter-finals.

Bye,

P. C.
