Probably Shannon Taylor or Sonni Michael Angelo.
Re: Mundine V ?
or maybe a South American?
Re: Mundine V ?
I could honestly be treated to a very special gift, Imagine me 3 or 4 rows back taking a pictutre in my home town of Mundine motionless on the canvas. I will go even if it's on my own this time, can't waitAntonS wrote:It's been rescheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday our time)bigred83 wrote:any news on the purse bid for the WBA title fight that was ordered between the man and golovkin?
Re: Mundine V ?

Re: Mundine V ?
^ I'll believe that when they step in the ring and touch gloves...
Re: Mundine V ?
No way! I'm impressed it has been agreed. Now he'll have to impress me once more and actually go ahead with the fight. Golovkin by KO, for me.

i wonder what will happen now with that june 30th slot on main event? apparently sonny bill was to have his second fight...
Re: Mundine V ?
It will go ahead as planned because Mundine will pull out of the other fight.adamheight wrote:i wonder what will happen now with that june 30th slot on main event? apparently sonny bill was to have his second fight...

Re: Mundine V ?
Glad to see the purse is a 50/50 split
Re: Mundine V ?
Im pretty sure he gets that for fighting over here, If not more.adamheight wrote:anyone know what mundine makes when hes promotinmg a boxa show fighting a cabbie? for golovkin hell make 600,000USD. i just wonder how that compares to his average main event show down here..that might be a deciding factorMarlin wrote:It will go ahead as planned because Mundine will pull out of the other fight.adamheight wrote:i wonder what will happen now with that june 30th slot on main event? apparently sonny bill was to have his second fight...
So i cant see this fight going ahead, unless he plans on using it as exposure for future fights in the States.
Re: Mundine V ?
Will it really even be massive exposure in the states? Is this Golo bloke that well known over there? All his fights have been in and around Germany. I'll be honest, I've never seen him fight... and his record doesn't exactly read like a who's who of middleweights. You'd have to start Mundine as favourite.

Olympic Silver medalist and Big puncher, I think the US fans will like his style of fighting.Marlin wrote:Will it really even be massive exposure in the states? Re: Mundine V ?
i think i read somewhere this guy KO'd bute in the ams, i know its a world away, but not a bad scalp to have IMO.
i hope this fight happens. he needs to justify still fighting i think, and wat hes done lately really doesnt do that

Re: Mundine V ?
jamie pittman fought him as an amatuer just a week before the olympics , pitty told me he is the best boxer he has ever fought icluding sturm , golovkin knocked bute out at the 2003 world championships on the way to gold
