Sky commentating tongiht

Post by rob12344 »

It will be Smith and Watt. The dream team of Darkie and McCrory did prizefighter.

I wish it was Darkie covering these fights. He has a great boxing knowledge and always seems to make me laugh at times with some of his well placed comments and humour. Smith is way too bland and serious, no sense of humour at all. I fear it will be another mute job and I'll pop in a CD and listen to some nice music while I watch. Probably better that way.

How many of you, like me, find yourself shouting at the TV - "just shut up" - whenever Watt drones on repetitively

Yeah, I'd have preferred Darke tonight but watchagonna do? As good as the HBO coverage is, I'd rather watch the sky stuff on TV than them on a stream.

Although with Rawling and McKenzie doing Khan v Malignaggi :-? on ITV, it's gonna be hard work listening to them instead of Bob Papa, especially if they are anything like they were on the Froch fight.

Glyn Leach was bang on with his BM editorial this month. They need to freshen the whole package up. Its utterly stale.

Jim Watt is horrible. He picks his favourite at the start of the fight then licks their ass all the way through.

"Mosley has got off to a terrible start" It was a close first round that I actually scored to Mosley.

"No one has ever done this to Mosley." Didnt he see the first Forrest fight when Mosley was nearly decapitated with a 2nd round uppercut?

"Mosley's corner should pull him out."

Followed by "I really hope Mosley hears the final bell."

He'spathetic, his worst performance was when Fury fought McDermott. He was on Fury's back all night. I really think that fight was close but Watt made people ump on the bandwagon with the "Robbery" shouts.

Watt: 'Mayweather has dominated him throughtout except for the first round' umm miss the 2nd Watty '

I like Watt and he was right the corner maybe should have pulled Shane out or at least gave it '1 more round or Im pulling you out' speech. Better than the American none boxer commentators who don't have much idea about the sport. At least hes never come out with 'bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang'
