I watched it, flicking between the live fights. Ross was fantastic with his knowledge...had obviously done no research or, should I say, his researchers had done nothing.

"So, you had the WBC belt? There's a lot of different ones, isn't there? The WBU and...the WBI if I'm not mistaken." All those combinations he could have chosen and he gets it wrong. Also interesting that the only one that came to mind was the WBU - shows the publicity it gets is having an effect.

Ross also thought one of the reasons Lewis might come back was that Klitschko beat him, though it was said very much in a mumble.

The audience were aghast when Lewis revealed the bombshell that Tyson had bitten him on the leg in a press conference. It was obviously news to almost all of them.

Really depressing - just showed how much the general public know about the sport...absolutely fornicate all.

Ross is a tosser.

He nearly got starched once on They think its all over.

One of the mysterious guests was a gypsy fairground worker with the hammer thing.

After he was revealed roos started wacking his machine with the hammer.

The guy took the hammer off him, told him to fornicate off and called him a wanker.

Ross allegedly peed his pants backstage.

It's easy to forget that the general public know absolutely nothing about boxing. Ricky Hatton could walk down oxford street on a saturday afternoon and hardly anyone would bat an eyelid.

No matter whether there are more TV dates now, whether boxers make more money, or whether promoter X fills X venues X times a year, boxing is dead as a witches knocker.

I honestly don't think it will even be on PPV in 20 years time, it will be completely gone.
