I owe Magee f*ck all!

The British title is mine, taken from a champion - Which Magee has never done. If you want to get technical then Magee "owes" Carl Froch for vacating after knocking Magee out.

Don't give me that graciously stepped aside bollocks, you know your boxing.... Magee "graciously" SOLD his Lonsdale belt. :TU:
Must of touched a nerve there!

Maybe Magee does owe Froch a debt of gratitude, maybe you owe Magee one. My point was made to highlight that Tony's point in the post I was replying to was invalid.

At the end of the day Paul my point is that I dont think you deserve a 50/50 split with Magee if you fight him and you deserve even less if the fight is in Liverpool, if you negoiate more the fair play to you, you got more than you deserve - in my eyes.

I'm not going to fall out with you over it thats just my opinion of the situation. I usually support all the Smith brothers and think ye are good for boxing - I just will be behind Magee on this one!

Spud,

I feel like hunting you down and causing you severe discomfort. I don't quite know why, but when I see you quoting in almost every sentence, I just want to scream!

Feck knows why!

You mean between two domestic operators, not including Froch and Calzaghe?

If it was the performance of Quigley V Dodson that attracted so many then why did it again pack out with over 6,00 when Smith fought Dodson....even though everyone says Smith Vs Quigley was a boring fight??? The only common factor in the two packed arena's was Paul Smith. He is a draw in our city weather people like it or not and over 6,000 for a BRITISH title fight is a great turn out. Not taking nothing away from Magee, he is popular in Belfast yes so either way - wherever the fight were to take place then it would be a good turn out, well supported from both sides. The main thing here is IF the fight takes place
C'mon Stephen bending the truth a little there mate, was at all 3 British title fights in the Echo an the most people were at the Dodson v Quigley fight!! ......... Dodson v Smith was empty in comparison, the top balcony was empty and empty seats everywhere!!
Once again you are out the woodwork to post on a thread concerning me. Once again you let your personal 'bitterness' toward me cloud your logic, once again you're wrong.

Check the attendance numbers. Fact is Dodson v Quigley didn't do 3000. It was the least selling show with the MOST publicity thrown at it.

I was at all 3 myself and I know which was attended the least, through facts and figures

magee could potentially get 70-30 elsewhere & still not earn as much as a 50/50 split with smith.

Groves sounded like he wanted the fight badly after he beat Adamu.

Although Groves vs Degale whets my appetite even more.
