next couple of months, big for Australian boxing!

Post by Hounddawg »

I can't believe how many Australians are in Title/Title eliminaters and fighting good fighters abroad, it's good to see and appears that Aussie boxing is on the way back.

So far; May

Dawson vs Sergiy Dzinziruk (WBO Lt Middle).

Katsidis vs Kevin Mitchell (WBO Lightweight)

Meehan vs Chageav (WBA Heavyweight eliminater)

Darchinyan vs Barcelona (IBO Bantam title)

Columban vs Demyanenko ( PABA welter)

So Far; june

Dib vs Hernandez (IBF Pan pacific feather)

Bolling vs Oosthuizen (IBO SuperMiddle)

Davidson vs Ota ( OPBF LT Middle)

I'm impressed given the fact that so many people like myself would have been happier in the past, if we got that in a year.
Another important fact is there's no Green or Mundine, so if things go well there's life after these 2 for Australian boxing.
