that was mentioned in the recent article in the observer, Brendan said it was just meant to be a photo shoot or something and Naz twatted him...

theres a bit in Paddy & the Prince too where Naz & Ryan Rhodes gave Brendan a going over.

I remember that happening, if I remember correctly it was a feature for boxing news.

Claude had a nose bleed, but I don't recall anything about him being bashed up.

Yes remember the article a few years back, wasn`t it a typical Ingle sparring session, just the body?
I`ll see if I can dig it out, anyone remember what year it was to make it a little easier?

This is article from The Observer: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/stor ... 39,00.html

Not much there about Claude getting a beating, but plenty about a talented guy letting it all get away.

So easy to forget just how huge Naz was: I remember a 5 page spread about him, back in '96/97 in a respected magazine called 'Select'. Which was a music magazine, as well as the big article Loaded did. He was massive: Can you imagine Hatton getting 5 pages in todays Q and/or FHM?

yeah thats the one
He recalls the occasion when Claude Abrams, editor of Boxing News , arranged to spar with Hamed for a soft feature. 'I said to just mess around, but Naz beat the shit out of him. He is a horrible person. I had this for 18 years. There was not a day went past when he didn't try to humiliate or belittle me.

Go on Amazon and get hold of a copy of "LORDS OF THE RING", Warren, Marsh and the Business of Boxing. Written By Harry Lansdowne & Alex Spillius, Published in Hardback by William Heinmann 1991.

A very interesting read which Warren got banned.

Really?

The book isn't available, even on amazon any more. It used to be because I remember seeing it, but I guess Amazon were advised not to sell it as it is banned in the UK.

Yes, I have an interview with Frank on tape from a BBC documentary from a few years ago.

I also seem to recall he gave the impression that it was not Boxing related. But he did say he knew who it was, but he would never name names and that it was all history now anyway.
