Malignaggi: I will punish Peeping Tom Khan

Paulie Malignaggi is back again with some verbal bombs for WBA champion Amir Khan. Khan makes his American debut next Saturday against Malignaggi in New York's Madison Square Garden. Malignaggi is taking a few digs at Khan over the recent sex scandal being reported in several media outlets. Los Angeles model, Leanne Crow, claims Khan sent her dirty text messages and several photos where he exposed himself.

Malignaggi has been on a rampage since Khan's trainer Freddie Roach predicted a knockout win within three rounds.

"I was being nice these past few days to Amir Khan, but tell that Peeping Tom, [that] as soon as he steps into the ring - he better prepare for more then three rounds, because it's going to be a long nightmare. And he might not wake up," Malignaggi said.

"I tried to be Mr. Nice Guy and respect Amir Khan and his perverted ways. But that is now out the window, like when round four comes and he hasn't knocked me out. Tell that pervert Amir Khan, to stick to sending photos to models, because this boxing game is a real sport."

experience, chin, power, speed, ring brains.....some really well matched criteria here......the only thing that concerns me from Malignaggi's perspective is the way Hatton bashed him up and stopped him. This said, rather than bust him up with powerful punches, Khan is a totally different style of boxer to Hatton.

i should maybe clear up what I meant above about well matched criteria. Paulie far more experienced.......you'd have to say better chin (altho I've never subscribed to Khan having a crap chin as many do).......speed is with Khan altho expect Paulie not to be too far behind him at all. You'd have to say power is with Khan, he's still growing into it IMO.....although both possess enough power to be effective. Then it comes down to ring smarts, who will execute the better plan. Paulie's balls are well proven, but Khan is no shrinking violet either.

it will be interesting to see how Paulie adapts as he's conceding speed which is probably unusual for him, although I expect Khan to hold himself back cos if he goes a little bit John Murray , Malignaggi will think it's Christmas come early.

Going to be fascinating fight and 12 rounds is plenty of time to see who the better man is. Can't wait.

But because he's a foreign fighter the British press says 'oh my goodness he's calling out Mayweather and Pacquiao' and then the American press jumps on their bandwagon."

Malignaggi has his chance to shut Khan on up on May 15 when they clash at New York's Madison Square Garden.
