whilst Barney is slippery and awkward.... a cross between John Ruiz and Henry Maske...... he is not the most durable of guys and Ulrich can hit hard...

Dean Francis (a world class fighter is his day) dropped him whilst fighting 12 rounds with only one arm

can only see one result and thats KO win for the Flu-meister...

of course it is still far too soon to predict with any confidence thay Barney will make it to the ring.... remember the last Barney fight and the Branco fight that were called off the day before the weigh in.......

ahhhhh so thats where allegedly and Joe C get their ideas from :TU:

oh my god! i always hated these Maske-fights. Ulrich needs this victory for a title-chance at the WBC or WBA.

Bubi you should try and get a copy of his war with Tony Oakey a while back. One for the ages.

a classic...... but just like the very similar and equally intense and compelling war between Aaron Pryon V alexis Arguello , the result was tarnished by drug rumours..... :TU:

Oakey v Barney is THE worst fight in living memory. Makes Skelton v Moli look like the riverdance.

 It was a stinker all right.

Barney will look to achieve new heights in propelling himself backwards around the ring as fast as possible.

Not really a fighter, Barney... there must be literally tens of guys more deserving the shot than him...

Are you sure? Adamu v Barney was surely the worst. Barney backpedalled all night and maybe landed 3 shots the whole stinking 12 rounds. Adamu actually landed less, but seemed to get the fight based on nothing more than his surging spin-bowling action.

Monica Seles is probably more aggressive than Barney.

Can´t wait to watch your "british hero" on Saturday. Fight is live on ZDF (23.00 CET). Better than seeking for eggs......

This Barney was not that bad as you said. He was quick and had a good jab. Ulrich had severe problems. Scoring was very difficult. Some rounds were very close. A draw would have been correct. Headline in Germanys biggest newspaper is "Scandal-Verdict"..........

I am really surprised Barney performed so well.. it seems Ulrich had a real problem with his eye...

Barney must have improved his running man style and perfected it because a couple of years ago he wasnt so good.... he got stopped by tough journeyman Hussein Osman and was VERY VERY lucky to beat my old gym mate Chris Nembhard.......

Ulrich said that he caught a punch with Barneys thumb. I was very surprised because there was no hugging. Barney was "doing the Ottke"
