Toughest call was Norton over Schmeling - I think Max would do better against the other two in the group, but Ken would win their matchup. I may even change my mind later.

Yes.BarryWashington wrote:Walcott over Lewis?
Lewis power is overrated, Liston's power is true... The only way lewis could win would be on points, but his jab might not be eneough tos top Sonny flooring him repeatedly.BarryWashington wrote:Lennox would have a great chance at beating Sonny, but to each his own.

Re: Hevyweight Boxing Tournament: Last 32;
There'd be none of that. If Lewis bested Liston, it would be without having ever touched the canvas. Liston isn't flooring Lewis multiple times, because Lewis never would have risen repeatedly if felled by Liston's best punches.Crease wrote:Yes.BarryWashington wrote:Walcott over Lewis?... If Rahman can KO Lewis and if Vitali Klitchsko can give Lewis trouble, then a skilled boxer such as Walcott would startle Lewis with his combinations and footwork.

I agree... I just can't see Lewis beating Liston (or Walcott for that matter).Goodnight, Irene wrote:Liston isn't flooring Lewis multiple times, because Lewis never would have risen repeatedly if felled by Liston's best punches.

Wills is a top 15 all time HW. Tyson definitely is not. It's not a big controversy IMO, Tyson is vastly overrated.

I don't possess any. I'm going off what I've read over the years, and his record.BarryWashington wrote:Just out of curiousity what film (of Wills) are you going off of?hitman09 wrote:Wills is a top 15 all time HW. Tyson definitely is not. It's not a big controversy IMO, Tyson is vastly overrated.
Similarily, I don't possess any of Harry Greb, but from his record, I know he's most likely pretty damn good.
