None is known to exist. A few posters on here have claimed to see Crumble fight, but I sometimes doubt these statements. There has even been a few who claimed to have even contacted the man himself, but I believe it to be bullshit. The 'Anti-Marciano' is almost an urban legend in boxing. Sometimes I have wondered if Crumble was just an alias for some other fighter out there who did jobs (dives) on the side to make extra money.

Maybe someone can interview or email the guys who fought him.

Eric Crumble is yet another man that Larry Holmes ducked!
Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
I fear that this simple suggestion may lead this thread down the alternative primrose path.

Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
I'm pretty sure Stacy Goodson knows him, not sure if he still posts on the current scene.

Yes, I seem to remember Goodson mentioning he'd seen Crumble fight. He posts on Current Scene and Other Sports as "American Clubfighter", if you want to track him down.
Another one I'd like to know more about is Karriem Respress. Fought three times, all against Julius Long, all losses in the first round. Who was he? Why does he have this record? Was he just some random person plucked from nowhere and gloved up? Why THREE times? Surely twice was enough... The only thing I have found on him online besides his BoxRec page is a court document.

Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
Fear not, i think Eric Crumble went into MMA after his boxing career failed to lift off, found this from a bill in 2003
Welterweight Gladiators Eric "Rumble" Crumble, Milwaukee, WI, MLK Center vs. "Crush'em" Casey Garza, 3 Time National Amateur Champion, Burlington, WI, Duke Roufus Gym 3rds
wonder how he got on?

Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
Wonder what would be more valuable; Crumble or Greb footage?
Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
Is this a trick question? If I was in the seats at one of his fights, could I still answer with a "No"?
Re: Did you see Eric Crumble fight?
I never saw the guy fight, and the whole alias theory wouldn't surprise me. But with a record like his I can only imagine he was a guy that just hit the canvas for the count the first time a decent punch connected. Anyone who is legitimately trying to win couldn't possibly get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd round 31 times in a row. If you're legitimately trying to win sometime in 31 fights you're gonna come across a guy that sucks, that you'd at least last the distance with.
