Ricky Hatton tipping Amir Khan to win

Post by maxicarter »

Don't suppose many people have a better idea of who might win than Ricky. He thinks Malignaggi is a "soft puncher" !

Neither could Willie Limond it was said before hand, I don't feel you have to be the biggest puncher to hurt him BUT I will concede that Malignaggi ain't a puncher..BUT could he spring something???

By far the best fighter Khan has been in with, I do think if tagged he could go. If Malignaggi can hurt Cotto and Diaz I don't see why he can't hurt Khan.

Good point :TU:

I think though myself that the dazzling speed from Khan will have it over in the first third of the fight with a TKO, if it does go on it will become very interesting to see if Khan has the stamina to go the distance.

I quite like the look of Khan getting knocked down at 9/1

an incredible odd, if not unreal!

i rate Malignaggi, have done for a couple of years now. More than possible he beats Khan, but I would expect Khan to pull it off.

Even if Malignaggi doesn't win the 9/1 for Khan to take a count against a world level fighter is value when he's been put on his arse at mediocre British level.

If Malignaggi can survive the early onslaught and take it into the middle and late rounds, he has a chance, Khan slows later in the fight, and he is always going to be vulnerable.

Paulie is nothing if not tough, but Khan has the speed I think to blow him out of there.

That 4/5 didn't last long, it's now 8/15.

Malignaggi is tough but other than that I don't rate him at all (although in fairness to him I haven't seen his fights with Diaz). I think Khan will hammer him.

Interesting fight. Malignaggi has fought Diaz twice, losing the first and winning the second. His only other losses are against Cotto and Hatton and Khan isnt in their league. This isnt the foregone conclusion some think it is just because Paulie isnt a big puncher. We shall soon see.
