I understand everyone is entitled to an opinion but why label the thread Smigga?? There is already a topic about Smith Vs Magee so why not just post the comment there??

I'd also like to say if your so sure on Magee and you'll put your house on it how about offering me some decent odds on Paul Smith?? I'll take anything reasonable..

I have had my spats with Mr Smigga - there seems to be a truce at present which I am enjoying as he seems to get the better of me here and there!!!

However - for those who are getting upset at the opening post in this thread - I truly cannot understand what is wrong with the post - If Barney wants to go "fishing" and people take the bait - surely its their problem not the original poster?? - he hasn't wrote anything abusive or insulting and is entitled therefore to have written what he has - or are we now stating this is the "Liverpool Boxrec Forum" where you cannot criticise anything scouse?

I have a healthy respect for Paul Smith - always have done - but I also enjoy friendly banter as others do with me - I have always stated and there is no wind up intended that I think Brian Magee beats Paul Smith - it seems I am in the minority and I have no problems with that.

I do however have a problem just because the original poster has posted what he has - he gets slagged off for it. If boxers want to come onto this forum - they have to take the banter that goes with it - if they want to come back with their own then fair enough - game on!!! - however stop throwing your teddies out of your prams everytime someone criticises or has an observation which doesnt agree with yours!!! - it seems its okay to criticise posters like myself and others yet its WRONG to have a pop at boxers.

I will state again and I dont give a toss that its controversial - if you dont like the criticisms - **** ***

I've just lost my original reply to this erroneous post......but the word boring got used as well as the expression: "blowing smoke up people's backsides in such a long-winded, "look at me" fashion.

If you and your "calm down and look at me, it's just banter" attitude don't think it's inappropriate to use Smith's nickname to start a thread about the other guy who he "has his house on" and is "home in a f*cking boat", then you need to give your head a shake pal.
