Does the footage of these two sparring exist ?
Any stories or info on their training together ?
And as a hypothetical..
How do you see the outcome should they have met
in 1987. For whatever reason....
Before Biggs fought Tyson.

Re: Evander Holyfield and Tyrell Biggs
Biggs/holyfield would have been a blow out imo.
Re: Evander Holyfield and Tyrell Biggs
Holyfield stops Briggs inside of 9 rounds.....A younger approaching prime Holyfield simply had too much hand speed, to physically strong, and the legs to cut off the ring on Briggs and make him trade. Holyfield would break him down from the body upward and TKO him...
Re: Evander Holyfield and Tyrell Biggs
already by the time just before he faced Tyson , Briggs was falling apart outside the ring due to substance problems. Also he had developed a problem with his eye which plagued him for the rest of his career.
Briggs was someone who in my opinion partly due to his lack of dedication as a pro and partly his being in my opinion being bought up badly by the Duvas and than ditched, didnt do anywhere near what he could have.
That said he is an Olympic Gold medalist and was a terrific pure athlete, perhaps one of the finest in an era (1980's) of physically gifted athletes in the HW division.
The pre Tyson Briggs was a good boxer and he would have given Holy problems early with his beautiful movement and jab but around 5 rounds Holys terrific work rate and output starts to overwhelm Tyrell and Holyfield stops Tyrell on his feet around round 9.
