Mitchell looks a hard bastard too though, and his hard upbringing is gonna help him.

50/50 but I like Mitchell's chances - could be perfect timing for him: on home ground coming off his best wins in years. If he can box clever early and not go to war, he can start to bust up Katsidis mid fight and get a handle on the fight. He could hurt the Aussie too, catching him coming in. But he does NOT want to get into a brawl early, which could prove tricky with the roaring crowd in the background.
As DJ Dave Nice would say............"wise words mate"
Let's hope he keeps a cool head, gets a good name for himself and does a lot of work for charidee but doesn't talk about it

Mitchell is definitely going to try and box this early on. I don't think the fans will mind too much if Kevin uses his brain and avoids the early bombs of Katsidis.

What a match up though. You have to say, with the form that Mitchell appears to be in, if he doesn't deliver the goods tonight then he never will at this level.

Thats one of the 1st things I noticed about them. Mitchell looks so naturally smaller.

This looks set to be a good fight. I just hope Mitchell doesn`t try to steal it by running all night.
I think too much has been made of Mitchells win over Precott .. just because Prescot could Ko Khan doesn`t make him special .. as his later fights have proved :-?

I`m just keeping my fingers crossed for a good bruiser of a fight :TU:

The weigh in footage makes it looks like a barrow boy vs Conan the barbarian!

I know FW knows what he's doing when it comes to match making but I can't help thinking back to the career-ruining job that Katsidis did on (a then) very game Graham Earl. Also am very impressed with the Nigel Benn like attitute Katsidis has displayed in coming back from his losses.

If Kevin wins tonight, he will be worthy of the utmost praise.

I'm not seeing it personally, Mitchell looked leaner and meaner while Katsidis was trying to puff himself up during the staredown. If anything, I'd say Mitchell looked the bigger of the two and he had more of an intensity about him.

I'm really starting to fancy Mitchell doing a number on Katsidis, even though it goes against the more likely outcome.

Be great to see Nigel Benn ringside, that'd be a good omen. Though I think he fell out with Frank didn't he

Jesus! Talk about a misleading hunch, Mitchell wasn't in the same class, not even close. :verysad:

My accum is still on due to that result, have to say I'm surprised at the manner of defeat & how quick it was.

Katsidis was full value, blew Mitchell away with power & guts
