I'm excited about him too and see him doing big things. He is so technically skilled and really knows his way around the ring. People criticize his power and say that will be what holds him back, but his power doesn't seem to bad to me and with all his other gifts he doesn't need a brutal punch. I have really enjoyed watching him in action.

I'm still in shock. I'd always had reservations about both Mitchell and Murray when they finally started fighting the top guys, but I wasn't expecting that.

Mitchell was made to look like a tune-up for Katsidis. He wasn't undone with a single punch, he was walked down and hammered, clinically. Mitchell looked to be nowhere near the same class. I expected a hard fight, a close fight at the very least, it turned out to be a mismatch. Didn't see that coming. :(

I was very shocked by the result, thought Mitchell would take him apart after the Prescott performance.

Not only is Katsidis a heavy banger & an entertaining fighter, the guy fights anyone anywhere & is a total gentleman.

Absolute credit to the sport & a breath of fresh air.

well didnt see the fight but sounds like a demolitionn. Did anyone feel that Katsidis showed further improvement (as he seems to have been slowly but surely improving some of his faults) or was it simply just Mitchell wasnt in his league.

Pleased to hear the post fight business was classy. Some people may bag Katsidis as a "boxer" buut he is a class act as a man and has tonnes of courage/heart. Really hopes he cracks one of the top guys soon.

Perhaps Kev hopefully will learn from his defeat and come back stronger. What next for him- a confidence builder then Murray?

Of course he would, no doubt Katsidis would be the huge underdog in that fight as well, shitt you can even have Dave Perris as ref and we'll send Michael over with 1 arm :OhYes:

Bring on the 20/20 :TU:
