Ridiculous statement , the ref made the right decision , without doubt.

danny is totally totally gone, seemingly no punch, no defence and no idea, most shot fighters still retain the ability to defend themselves relatively well to protect their fragile whiskers. unfortunately danny, lovely bloke that he is, needs to retire...forever. im hoping his bank account is ok.

Dannys shocking performance in Prize Fighter showed he had no business being in a boxing ring anymore.

It was good that it was stopped early so Danny didnt have to take prolonged punshiment over a number of rounds as would surely happen.

Now he can retire - and start his new career of being a bodyguard to Celebritys.

Good luck Danny. :TU:

Chisora didn't prove anything by winning this fight against such a shot Williams.

Chisora hasn't had a war yet, imagine if Rogan was in there fighting Chisora last night. Now that's a fight we need to see.

I'm no fan of Chisora but beating Danny Williams, even the obvious shell of the shell version we saw last night is much, much better than anything on any other British prospects record thus far(bar of course Sexton, but then again, Chisora has beat Sexton too, who in turn bested Rogan twice...)

Price, Dallas, Fury(ok he has a win over McDermott but even Tyson himself knows he never won that fight)etc are playing catch up.

He did look good last night, but Williams was a shadow of himself! I still think Chisora is the best British Heavyweight prospect

My dad said 'has Williams put a few quid on himself' after that debacle of a performance. Glad he's giving it up because that was awful from Danny last night, after saying he'd go out in a blaze of glory and would train right etc etc.

Chisoa still has had no test. Anyone would have put Williams down he is so shot. Now Chisora holds the British he will have to fight the other prospects.

Sexton by rights has a shot first, Fury/McDermot winner, Larry Olambiwo as he is now the southern area champ, Tom Dallas aint far off a crack either with 9 fights, if he gets in the mix.

That was such a sad thing to see & a really sad way for Williams to bow out.

I know Danny is a frustrating, lazy, over-eating chump, but I do have time for him as a fighter, as he has always shown courage & heart in his career.

There is no way that he should have fought Chisora.

I really hope that he is retired now & if not, I hope the BBBC revoke his license to fight.

I think you're right, but he does look a bit fleshy to me.

I hope he gets himself into proper shape before he fights again.

Good grief...

Does anyone really honestly believe Danny was even trying ? It was only recently he was like a caged animal against Platov.

I swear he bet a wad on Chisora to win in the second round by stoppage for his retirment fund.

FIX !

Chisora could fight again in July defend the title. How long will Sexton be out of action?

I was there, plus I've watched the fight a few times through, i had Sexton up 1 round in the 6th, winning the 6th and final round, 20 secs left on the clock Chisora threw a lazy flurry, about 6 punches, nothing solid landed and ref stopped it with, Sexton on the ropes, arms up strong, protecting himself and defending/rolling on his feet, not caught or dazed. Was a real shame it was stopped, it was an awful stoppage, I've seen the fight a few times and reviewed the stoppage a couple of times, no stoppage needed. Fwank said before hand, who ever won between them 2 would become his golden boy, Fwank has always seen more marketability in Chisora being a London boy along with his attitude and such, I do wonder sometimes.

The whole of the Sexton vs Chisora bout was on youtube? Wonder why it's gone? I believe almost anyone who will watch it will agree the stoppage was not needed and Sexton was not loosing at the time with 20 secs left to go Chisora was saved really.

Does anyone have a copy?

I agree. I though Danny looked really sharp up untill that point and was just about to get going. Chisora would have been in big trouble. Bloody ref !

P.S

I think chisora is capable of being on the world scene by the end of the year, he's easily the best heavy on the domestic scene. Not including harrison.
