Post by REAL_DEAL »

Saturday night, Could be another F.O.T.Y not sure who wins this but i have a feeling Vasquez might force a late stopage. Can't believe none of the fights have been shown on british tv. Download in the morning me thinks.

I hope for an entertaining fight but more than anything I hope they both come out with health intact. I read that they both got hardly anything for the first two fights and finally got paid for the third fight. Hopefully they are getting decent money for this one too.

I think this fight is impossible to confidently pick a winner from. They could both be shot to pieces after what they have been through with one another.

Looks like i'll be searching for a stream on the weekend.

Am I the only person who is a bit worried for these 2 and doesn't really want to see them fight for a fourth time?

it's a shame they have to do it yet again.

there is no way they can top that 3rd fight.

it's just overkill. they probably ruined each other and won't be any good vs the other top lighter weight fighters, anymore. they've maybe gone from being elite world champions to fringe contenders with no championship.

Anyone who saw their comeback fights know that they have battered each other into much lesser versions of the fighters they were.
This is one last cashgrab before retirement which they have more than earned. Hopefully their rivalry will bring the best possible performance out of them and they can retire satisfied.
I see a mid round stoppage for Vazquez.

I haven't seen their comeback fights, but it looks like, on his record, Vazquez really struggled with journeyman Priolo, up until the KO of course. Did you see both comeback fights?

There are many fans that don't want to see Act IV. They gave us 3 classics and left every thing they had in the ring. I'm glad they have an opportunity to pad their earnings a bit but I honestly wish they weren't doing this again. Hopefully they both call it a career after this one. Unfortunately the winner will ultimately fight at least 1 more time and absorb more needless punishment. I love a great fight as much as the next guy but this is a hurtin business and these 2 have given and taken enough.
