I was at the Dyah Davis Versus Osumanu Adama fight on 2009-08-21 at the Miami Beach Resort & Spa, Miami Beach, Florida. I noticed you did not specify that Davis dropped Adama twice in the first round. You can confirm this in an article written by spam.com.
Here is a paragraph of the article describing there bout along with a link of the entire article.
"With the exception of the main event, the final fight was the fight of the night when rising star Dyah “Ali” Davis 16-1 (7KO) put on a show with dangerous Ghanaian Osumanu “Oboma” Adama 13-1(9KO). Adama answered the opening bell fast and was met by a calm and smart Davis who gained early attention with a crushing left hook. Davis floored Adama twice in the first with two very hard straight right hands. Davis the son of 1976 Olympic Games Gold medalist and ex-professional boxer Howard Davis, had an all star corner with John David Jackson and Anthony Hamm who had trained 8 world champions including recently passed Arturo Gatti. Davis showed brilliant boxing skills, slick defense, and proved to have a great chin as he weathered a constant survival surge from the Ghanaian, who should be credited with a strong valiant effort. This was a boxer’s delight of a fight! All three cards read 57-55. I saw it at 58-54 Davis."
