I feel that if Hatton fights again against say a top-tier fighter - It will be his last & will be retired by the opponent.

He looks happy enough doing his boxing promotions, nothing left to prove and who exactly is he gona fight? I don't see the point, just stay retired and do the promotional stuff.

What would be the point of Hatton returning. He beat everyone except the two elite fighters Mayweather and Pacman and theres no shame in that. Another fight against either would end the same way and Hatton knows it. There was a time I believe he could have beaten Cotto but that time has passed. Khan is another matter but Hatton would have to be super fit to beat him. I really dont think Hatton can do that any more, he would have to shed too much weight which wouldnt be good for him. Promoting is his best bet now.

He could be in the dressing room to face a b level or even c level fighter like Gomez or Nate Campbell or Alex Arthur and just know he's fkked.

And while his defeats to Pac and PBF will always have the small asterix of referee and poor prep next to them, he can say he lost to two HOF greats.

A loss to a 53 year old Erik Morales or a 71 year old Junior Witter and that tag line is shredded.

He'll stay retired I think, certainly will not fight this year.

I think Hatton won't fight again, and I don't blame him. He had a terrific career, there's no point coming back.

A victory over Amir Kahn would silence these fools who call themselves boxing fans...

And, Hatton vs Cotto has been a fight that I've wanted to see for over 5 years.

Hatton would be brushed aside at this stage of his career by both Khan and Cotto.

I remember seeing him up close after the Pacquiao fight, he was like a shell, his skin flacid, his eyes looked empty. He was meek, shocked.

He wouldn't want to go through that again, a KO that brutal.

Cotto and Khan (at this point) would beat him, and badly.

He should enjoy his money and put all of his energy into promoting, he has some very good fighters in his stable already, and several of them will be in Bury this weekend, notably Quigg.

The only real reason to come back would be a mega fight, but who would he beat realistically?

The biggest names - he hasn't fought - are Bradley, Khan and Cotto in and around that weight.

There's no point, and I feel all of them would beat him.

Amazingly, Morales is still only 33! First pro fight at 16.

Admittedly though, he may as well be 53 he's clearly a shell of his former self. Though he showed he's still durable and mean in his last fight.

I reckon Cotto is totally wrecked now, I think he is going to lose against Foreman, and promptly retire.
