Hassan is meant to be quite a tough nut apparently, originally his camp claimed Golovkin ducked him and was looking for Mundine as an easier option, ofcourse that fell through, im gonna be watching this one if i can, it sounds like a good matchup

yes this should be a cracking fight, the middleweight division could be heating up now pavlik and abraham have moved on. a few young exciting fighters ready to step up. i think it could be shaping into a very interesting division.

no wonder mundines shrinking again

It could be fight of the year. I can't wait. Golovkin's got the amateur pedigree but quite a few people have been raving about Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam for a while now. Whoever wins is likely to become a force in the division.

Both unbeaten but neither has fought anyone of note.

Golovkin obviously beat many people of note in the amateurs, including stopping Bute. As a pro, I'd say his most recognisable win is over Ian Gardner, a tough and dangerous fighter who broke Deandre Latimore's unbeaten record.

N'Jikam's most recognisable victory is over Affif Belghecham, a boxer who gave Andy Lee and Darren Barker trouble in his last two fights.

But forgetting about their records, just by watching these guys you can see they're talented. That's what most important. They haven't had the defining fights yet. They're just prospects at this stage.

Golovkin V N'Jikam should be a terrific fight.

One things for sure, whoever wins [ I'm tipping Golovkin } will give Felix Sturm a tough night out.

Our own illustrious hero didn't have the balls. What a complete fraud.

they will when they fight each other.

for instance, had mundine fought anyone of note when he was considered a prospect?

fair call mate, all I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't put too high expectations on these guys until they do step it up. I understand that fighters have to progress up the ranks and you can see something special in them while they're doing so but people are talking about these guys like they are already at the top of the mountain, I'd just like to see them actually climb there first.
