Barker, Macklin, Lee. If any two of them face off I'll be happy. Good fights. :TU:

isn't macklin fighting geale?

barker was supposed to be fighting gevor but gevor is fighting another german-based fighter.

reckon it should be barker v lee as neither seem to have a meaningful opponent lined up.

winner would make a good challenger to sergio martinez, while every other contender/prospect salivates over sebastian sylvester's IBF title...

I met Macklin in New York - very nice, funny lad. Previously my hatred of the Paddy bile on here would have guaranteed me supporting Barker but now I'm ambivalent.

We are so grateful for your ambivalence, it means so much to the nation, truely - in many ways it feels like you have bestowed us with some sort of award!

lol!!! "Paddy bile" - absolute bollócks! You never heard a word from the Micks about Barker until this whole European shot - Lee was castigated and dismiss as fighting bums when he took on Belgahcham and rightly gave him a master class of boxing. Then Barker takes the same fighter on in his next fight for the European title and the next thing you hear is "oh yeah gave Lee awful trouble, has him out on his legs he did, if it had gone one more round, just one more!" -

Try read the shíte posted day after day by you lot, the uncontested ignorance and hype of yours fighters is embarrassing - arnt you allegedly a journalist? Try some objectivity.

p.s. Kell Brook and Barren Ducker as the next messiahs and England are gonna win the World Cup as well, right?

Barker would beat Macklin on points IMO, he's slicker.

His power could cause couple of problems early on but I fancy Dazzling Daz to take this one.

Do us a favour then Slap and give me a list of your three favourite current English fighters, those capable of going further than British title level?

PS I'm Welsh so I'm neutral (and shag sheep etc etc blah blah :)

See, Leonard, you immediately go off on one and start getting personal. No idea where the first sentence comes from - nor the last above, which is insulting.

You are in absolutely no position to give me advice on any aspect of journalism. None. If you want to try, pick up the phone - I'd be interested to hear it.

Sorry if you took offence at 'Paddy bile' (the latter word I expect rather than the former). But that is exactly what you invariably spout.

You are simply impossible.

I think London born Lee and Birmingham born Macklin are a credit to Repton and Small Heath respectively!

Of those that havent already won a world title the only one I would be confident in backing is John Murray because the lightweight division is relatively weak. I cant see Rhodes getting past Williams, Alcine or even Margarito but Munroe has a fair chance because of the exodus from the super bantamweight division.

I'm no journalist, never claimed to be, learning as I go without any training - just have a passion for the sport.

You throw the first stone and then recoil when someone spits back - if you hadn't have started talking shíte about "Paddy bile" then I wouldn't have thrown a jab in your direction!

Andy Lee, Bernard Dunne, John Duddy.........B*Witched, Eoghan 'Yoghurt' Quigg from X Factor

Slap gets frustrated if you talk about any of them, and I know he's reeling from this Ronan Keating scandal so let's cut him some slack :TU:
