Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
Casey is going finish Owen quickly in the final
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
erm... so quickly Owen didn't reach the final. A sub is in.
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
Owen is out! Paul McIlhinny [sp.] in.
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
Prizefighter really need to look at their rules, this is dumb

A shame Arthur couldn't go in.U.F.O wrote:Prizefighter really need to look at their rules, this is dumb
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
A completely fresh sub can win the entire tourney in one fight! I agreeU.F.O wrote:Prizefighter really need to look at their rules, this is dumb
In K-1 (kickboxing), there is a fight to determine who the sub will be, and the winner of that (the person who becomes the sub) can't can't enter past the semi finals. I like those rules much better.

Maybe its there's not enough of TV time.. But that is much Better way of doing it......

I agree, "Bullseye" rules should apply.Horse wrote:Can't one of the losers get a second chance instead?
It's a shame, it's taken the shine off a really entertaining night.
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
It could be an off TV bout I suppose.Londonirish wrote:crusader wrote:A completely fresh sub can win the entire tourney in one fight! I agreeU.F.O wrote:Prizefighter really need to look at their rules, this is dumb

It's just not fair that a completely fresh guy could win the entire tournament with one win over an opponent who has already been through up to 18 minutes of boxing.
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
Any updates on how the final is going?
Edit: I see Casey took it. Good thing to. It would be pretty disappointing to have the sub win the tournament. Casey sounds like he really impressed tonight.

Nice prediction mate wish i'd took your advisedutchie wrote:Willie Casey will win this easy, saw him fighting in Limerick last year and he battered his man.
He is just back from Canada where he stopped an undefeated boxer there,he also is the highest ranking boxer here tonight and he is 11/2 with the bookies which is savage value, get on fast you were told.
Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
I'm not just saying this because an Irishman won but in my opinion it was the most entertaining PF I have watched. Some really good fights and I think it is fair to say the best man won on the night.damianhucker1 wrote:didnt bother watching , first one thats not appealed to me , from reading your lots posts wondering if ive missed out now.

Re: Prizefighter - Super Bantamweight Draw
it seems the lower weight fighters do put on the better fights over 3 rounds.
nonstop action in all of the fights, well done to all of them that took part last knight.
the knight belong to casey, a great little fighter.
look forward to seeing more of him.
