Former professional boxer Winston McKenzie has joined Robert Kilroy-Silk's new party Veritas as their spokesman for sport and black policies and is to fight the Croydon North seat at the next general election

Haven't heard of this guy but whenever a former boxer enters the public arena I think it's great. The media usually jumps on the fact that the guy was a fighter so it helps address the stereotyped image of pugs being a bunch of brainless morons

Glad I'm not the Croydon North seat then! 8)

I interviewed Kilroy when I worked for a local rag. Over the phone. Was weird...I was dying to laugh because he's so easy to take the mick out of. Seemed OK though.
