haye fears the klitschkos!!!

Post by Jesus »

this is haye and vitali face to face on german tv..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hymmhjUUcgM&translated=1

this is haye confronting wladimir at the excel arena...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnOANul82Tw

why is it when face to face with vitali haye seems kind of intimidated (see how haye looks embarrassed and just smiles like a fool when vitali punches his arm).

but infront of wladimir haye grows a pair of balls and starts his usual trash talking ( funny looking at the video haye keeps saying "dont run" whos the one running now!)

but now wlad has started calling out haye he has gone really quiet. i honestly think haye thought wladimir was scared of him and now he realises hes not hes got f all to say!

This is elite level boxing, not the WWE. Grow up.

If anyone thinks that Haye is scared of another boxer, they are a retard.

Completely different debate. This thread is that you claimed that David Haye is scared of another professional boxer. That is simply stupid.

It's irrefutable that Vitali stole a psychological march on Haye with the arm-dig and the hat steal (see youtube sidebar). Vit's good at that. He stole Kevin Johnsons' glasses and clashed with Peter over the WBC belt. Plus he's got a killer staredown.

I'm not implying that Haye is scared of him. But Vit has got a 'Don't feck with me. I'm your Daddy' streak a mile wide. There is no way Haye would have tried the arm-dig or hat steal on Vitali.

This is the truth.

Vitali is quite a disrespectful person - stealing sunglasses and punching arms.

He also immedaitely after their fight - with blood mashed face - marched up to Lennox Lewis punched him full out in the arm and demanded a rematch.........Lewis bodyguard had to aggersively step in his face and warn him off.

Vitali is a aggresive type - and no doubt Haye was being bossed in Vitalis presence.

Haye does not fear Vitali. Haye made a lot of noise and did a lot of distasteful things. May be he now fears he will be found out if he fights him; everyone will know the truth and he will become the laughing stock of his own people. Anyway, there is no point in starting a new thread with two old youtube clips that everyone has already seen.

A couple of things surprised me in those vids ..

There seemed little size difference between Haye and Vitali .. did Haye have his stilleto cowboy boots on to match the cowboy hat?

And the other thing, was just what a clown haye has turned into

I think my old hayemaker t-shirt is soon to be turned in dust rags...

The fights with the Klitschko's will happpen and yes, that means both Vitali and Wladimir.

Boxing isn't as simple as saying "Will you fight me......." and answering "Yes i will........"

There are a lot of "Politricks" as Lennox used to say, with managers, promoters, tv networks and governing bodies getting in the way.

Hence the fights are taking a long time to sort out, but in no way is it down to Haye being scared.......That is laughable

Indeed. As calmer heads have pointed out, there's a lot of manoeuveuring that goes on to make any A-list boxing match. Or even if Haye conciously decides to put the Klitschkos to one side FOR NOW and have a very lucrative but very winnable voluntary against Harrison, so what?

For further perspective, on the Current Scene there's a thread about Tim Bradley turning down Devon Alexander and in that instance he's being called "sensible" as he seeks to make more money.

So, when US fighters do it, they're being "sensible", but when UK fighters do it, they're "scared".

I guess the principle's the same, Bradley wants the Alexander fight to simmer into a superfight down the road. Problems with that comparison are that Bradley's last 5 fights comprise Witter, Cherry, Holt, Campbell and Peterson. That's quite the murderers row of his division. The bigger problem lies in the fact that Bradley hasn't been screaming from the rooftops that the fight be made, for as long as people can remember.

It's pretty well known that Lennox took step aside money NOT to fight Tyson. If anything that says Tyson's handlers thought Tyson should be scared of Lennox.

It is called negotiations - Setanta imploded before their first fight was due, meaning Haye wouldn't have gotten paid, and the three of them are jockeying for position over money no doubt.

Haye hasn't let anyone down at all - but he'd better get his skates on before Vitali retires - he cannot have long left at his advanced age.

Who should Haye have fought instead? I don't think there is a lot better out there to be honest, Arreola, Thompson, who exactly is out there that is any better. Valuev, crap as he is, had only lost one fight previously and with his vast size is a problem for any heavyweight out there.

The shoe won't fit on the other foot no matter how much you try to force it. Peter, Gomez, Arreola and Johnson are essentially the best of a bad bunch, the only other significant names missing were beaten (badly) by little bro.

The only omission on the combined Klitscho resume is Valuev, who Haye beat, then called both brothers out, declined a 50/50 split (allegedly) before falling silent... and we've come full circle.
