Newcastle Reunion

all of you boxers , trainers retired pugs and boxing tragics ,the Newcastle Past and Present Boxers 45th Annual Reunion is on the 31st july at the Newcastle Leagues Club, Hector Thompson i s the guest speaker. he doesn,t need any introduction, he was a true champion, entrance is $25[includes roast dinner] pay at door.,6 pm start, first in best fed. enq.02 49683204. quite a few boys make the trip from Sydney.there is also a free breakfast on the next day at the local Royal Oak Hotel. There should absoloutly be more of this!with not only a main appearance but also local fighters(aus wide if necessary) that put on barnstorms in their time with some edited highlights maybe even narrated of their fights,be a good change to dinner and an interview, no offence but some of these older fighters laymen dont remember,(I do though)It would make a better experience for all,just my thoughts.And good on em for putting this on!

we are going to do that this year, a video of duran v thompson, with hector being interveiwed,new members are needed as the ten count takes it,s toll each year,young fighters are coming along with their trainers, they hear a few stories.45 continuous years is a good innings.all the best
