Buffer every day of the week as far as I'm concerned.
Picture the scene, massive fight night, lights dim and out come the immortal lines.
"And now for the many in attendance and the millions watching around the world, llllllllllleeeeeeeeettttttttttsssssssss get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."
Its hairs standing up on the back of your neck time, no other M.C can bring that. Its unbelievable.
Lennon is very good but it has to be buffer, he reaaly gets the crowd and fighters going with his classic line. Some guy told me he charges up to a hundred grand for a nights work, is that true?
Gary Logan with his "come on children on children let me tell you a story" voice, pisses me off. Kev and Bev is bloody useless so the best of British I suppose is the Elvis man, followed by McDonald. Buffer is better than Lennon IMO Stateside.

I'd say Lennon Jr is the better announcer in terms of professionalism and getting things right, but Buffer has the voice and the catchphrase which cannot be beaten, he delivers goose bumps every time whether you're watching on TV or at the venue.
In the UK, Burdis is by far the worst, he actually looks like he hates doing it he's so nervous and clearly knows nothing about boxing as he has to check his card for the fighters names, even in the main event. Hand his shaking hand just tops it off for me. I love the film: Love, Honour and Obey that he's in though! And I actually like Gary Logan.
Jimmy Lennon all the way, mainly because he sounds just like the guy from 'Pulp Fiction' that introduces the 'Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest'. Great movie, great surreal moment and every time Jimmy opens his gob I keep wanting him to invite the boxers to take part in a twist contest.
Ive already said Jimmy Lennon JR but what about our own legend that is Michael Pass lol. Michael Pass is by far the best of the british announcers. Burdis is just a tool
