I heard he looked very good but Bailey played his part as well.
Re: Carl Frampton last night?
Both boxers had a standing ovation by everyone in the Kings Hall last night after the performance from both fighters. I was lucky enough to witness this ring-side what a contest. Frampton with some beautiful eye catching shots and Bailey what a gritty tough man. One of the best undercard fights ever for me. Frampton is special in my opinion and can do well.

sky are pathetic, this lad is toted as a prospect and is fighting a decent domestic fighter, not some foreign bum like most and still does't get aird.slapbangwhallop wrote:negativeHomeOfBritishBoxing wrote:did sky show the fight?tijuana1 wrote:Both boxers had a standing ovation by everyone in the Kings Hall last night after the performance from both fighters. Could it have something to do with Framptons with McGuigan and he dumped Sky for ITVHomeOfBritishBoxing wrote:sky are pathetic, this lad is toted as a prospect and is fighting a decent domestic fighter, not some foreign bum like most and still does't get aird.slapbangwhallop wrote:negativeHomeOfBritishBoxing wrote: did sky show the fight?

I don't think one of his fights have being on Sky yet. I was in the corner for his second fight. He's really class. Stylistically he is going to be very entertaining. Think Cotto. High guard, lovely body shots. Its looking likely he's not going to get the attention he deserves early on in his career. But trust me if he stays disciplined he'll end up a fan favourite.

Bailey is a very good journeyman always gives it a go and goes to win, not just get paid.

Frampton was very good. I'm really impressed with him and he has all the potential to go very far in the fight game
Fair play to Bailey as well, tough kid.

Frampton is a class act. I believe he will win a world title as he has all the tools for the job, great speed, movement (foot and head), can fight forward and on the backfoot and packs power in both hands - especially his right hand with is very heavy.
He is also a hard trainer, very dedicated, doesnt drink or smoke and in is great hands under the stewardship of Gerry Storey and Barry McGuigan.
Sky viewers have really missed out on this talent as he has fought all six of his fights on undercards of Sky bills.
