I forgot to put in the article...I put it to Brendan that he'd had half a dozen lads through their graduate from university after being no hopers...and a similar amount of world/European champs. Which was more important to him of the two?

Brendan Ingle =a dead set legend. He remains an absolute hero to me.Such a good bloke, who takes an interest in people and is enormously supportive and kind.
I am trying to think of the fight where Brendan shouts "don't blow your nose!" at his fighter in the corner, not long after Paul Hodkinson had suffered terrible swellings over both eyes against Marcos Villasana. Great cornerwork.
