Personally, I can't see any other fighters besides the ones in the poll having a rightful claim.

Hitman these polls go back since BRS was born. It's a place for arguments and debate. There is no undisputed champion of course but IF you had to pick who had the best claim to be the REAL world champion, who would it be?

The Klitschko's have never fully unified but that doesn't stop people saying who they think is the number 1, the REAL world champion.

I'm gonna go with Salvador Sanchez, he is the only double World Champion.

Marquez has not proved himself against THE top opposition.
And Nelson has not done enough to be considered the NO 1.

It's pretty obvious where my vote's gone, but there's still no real champ yet. This week should make things clearer, with Ben stripped of his recent excuse for ducking Sally. If that fight doesn't happen, I'll consider my fighter "The Man" until someone beats him.

I'm going with Sanchez, holds two world titles and understands the prestige they have, also holds a win over the much avoided Saddler. Nelson just got beat again and has been ruined already. Marquez is fighting men like Litzau and his manager seems quite happy to boast about regularly fighting bums. Sergio Palma Who?

i have to agree with most Sanchez has proved himself my far i personelly am a favorite for Jhonny Gonzalez.i have always enjoyed his fights with 43 and 7 record and i think 37 of them k.o's
