The winner of this tourney is HOF bound, IMO.

Is this draw legit?

Effing hell. If Saldivar's 3 fights are Griffo, Pep and Ramos we'll be raging.DetroitHxC wrote:It is legit. Both groups are strong, and I think the fighters in Group A all could win this whole thing. Group B is just as solid IMO, it's not any tougher, and you will only be fighting 3 guys out of your group. My fighter is in the same group as you, and you don't see me complaining, or changing it. This is how it was randomly selected. We all just have to deal with it. You can feel free to drop out at anytime.jBacca wrote:Is this draw legit?

I know you're not complaining, but I'm sure this is all part of a bigger plan where your other fighter will be better off.
Neutral needs to draw the groups!
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
Group B is a bitch. I'm as confident about Pedroza getting through now as Saldivar.

By no stretch of the imagination should you consider yourself that TIA.The Irish Assassin wrote:while the big boys do some fighting.

I'll ask the commish to reshuffle if it will stop your whining.
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
You should have 4 groups with 4 in each or theres no point in having groups.
If you do it this way you'll end up with a tie breaker situation

And everyone fights everyone? I like this idea. More clear cut too, as you won't be able to avoid the best in your group by luck.JDC wrote:You should have 4 groups with 4 in each or theres no point in having groups.

Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
So 4 groups with 4 fighters in each group?
Round Robin style? Give me a second.

Yeah. It could be like a mini world cuphitman09 wrote:And everyone fights everyone? I like this idea. More clear cut too, as you won't be able to avoid the best in your group by luck.JDC wrote:You should have 4 groups with 4 in each or theres no point in having groups.

Quarters would be
(1) winner of group A v 2nd in group B
(2) winner of group B v 2nd in group A
(3) winner of group C v 2nd in group D
(4) winner of group D v 2nd in group C
Semis would be
winner of (1) v winner of (3)
winner of (2) v winner of (4)
Final would ensure fighters who started in the same group are kept apart
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
Is it gonna be 2 for a win, with a bonus of 1 for a KO, like the Super Six?

Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
I wish I'd have had a second fighter worth entering in this now. With that line-up, Marcel would have been eaten alive. This thing should be great.
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
OOOOOOHHHHH now, I do like the sound of a mini World Cup boxing tournament. Pep is ready to shine, he sees Young Griffo as his main competitor but has his eye on Mr Saldivar aswell who is somewhat of a injured kitten ready to unleash the lion power.
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
I assure you, we will not be drawing. All our fights will most likely end early.DetroitHxC wrote:Yes, and 1 point for a draw.hitman09 wrote:Is it gonna be 2 for a win, with a bonus of 1 for a KO, like the Super Six?

Ah yes. A Saldivar rematch should be fun.kevo wrote:Don't forget Olivares. Don't be bigging Griffo up. He's where he is due to genius matchmaking, nothing else.

Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
Good? This is outstanding work.
Re: PIITB Promotions presents: The Million Dollar Tournament
If I was betting, I'd be betting on Pep.

Well, Willie couldn't bang a hooker in a whorehouse so no need to worry about him.jBacca wrote:Don't be bigging Griffo up. He's where he is due to genius matchmaking, nothing else.
