Holmes stated during Dinner With The Champs he would beat Louis, & in fact all the greats, with only one man --- Jack Johnson --- giving him, "real" problems.

Fat chance. Louis puts him on his ever-widening ass in eight rounds. Holmes' game would be crippled by the Louis jab.

Personally I think Holmes had a better jab than Ali ever even dreamed of having. But Louis could figure out his man, almost better than any HW I ever seen on film. If you took him to the brink the first time, it was lights out the second go around. I think Louis would win a decision over Holmes, though it would be close and controversial maybe to a minority.

Over 15 rounds I don't see Holmes lasting the distance. He'll get badly hurt at some point late in the fight and unlike vs Shavers, Norton and Snipes, he won't recover here.

Louis would beat the crap out of Holmes, pumping that stiff jab into Holmes' face and bouncing right hands off of Larrys jaw. It would be over in 7-8 rounds. I'm sure Larry would have an excuse ready, class act as he always was.
