He is coming into the tournament with a broken back and a broken heart after his sweetheart left him so Willie is coming into the betting exchanges at 150/1. Jhonny Gonzalez is currently 2/5 favourite.

Pep has a tough group. We are happy with ours, though Pedroza-Olivares first round mightn't be the best start.

The commish is on the take, sadly for all of us the big money he continuously accepts is from a neutral Billionaire benefactor who keeps trumping the amount ponied up by the special interest groups.

This is why I am considering having an "electrician" visit him.

Only a select group of managers will know what this entails. But I'm sure we all agree, this obsession with neutrality must be stopped.

Jhonny G officially enters the tourney with an undefeated record. A lot of interesting elements to this tourney.

Not least the presence of The Ring World Champion.

Which means this tourney is also for the Ring Belt. That really ups the interest level.

WBU champion Sugar Ramos is also in facing Kevin Kelly

I think Kelly has a fair chance of getting through his group. The fights against Ramos and Bass are tricky but he is confident. Discoll could prove very dificult for him. 2nd place in the group could see him then face Pep in the quarters in what could be a great fight :TU:

With featherweight power like Kelly anything could happen :bag:

Kevin Kelly is a great price after two back to back wins he goes into the draw fresh off a 1st round KO.

Having heard the news of his odds he has doubled his efforts in training and is confident of ending it inside the distance :TU:

Ramos' odds are perhaps a bit short as he holds a win over Saldivar, which may cloud our judgement.

Kelly does have to prove something against ranked fighters.I know it was only against Nicky Cook but he landed 42 punches of 42 thrown, I hope he can transfer that form. Kelly often leaves himself open, but tidied up his defense against Gomez somewhat.

I think new coach Al Mitchell  deserves alot of credit for the improved Kevin Kelly. Brendan Ingle just wasn't the right style matchup for him, but we wish Brendan well for the future :TU:
