Prediciton league match-up???

Post by Btownjay »

Hey guys, sorry to interfere with your board over here... but i see some of you guys are in the prediciton league and needed to ask a question.

What possible reason is there for ... Earl Ling (6-10) vs. Nate Joseph (5-5) to be on this weeks picks? I just can't see a good reason. When they could have added the Joel Julio (17-0) vs. Carlos Vilches (43-5) that is on the Anchondo/Barrios undercard.

No big deal, just curious if anyone has 'inside info' on that. IMO, wouldn't they want the better fighters?

BTW, after my recent terrible slump i will be working my way back up!!

I am 12 points clear at the top eat my dust :TU: :P
I think its a good idea as its a challenge picking the more obscure match ups

Ah, so you are the loser i need to catch up to... only 32 points down!

Obscure fights are cool, but with two guys this bad? Oh well, kind of fun to see what the out come is i guess. Just IMO, they missed a big fight between Vilches and Julio. An up and comer vs. a seasoned journeyman. I have no idea who is going to win, but i can't wait to see it.

Yes I admit I missed that fight..

And as for Ling vs. Joseph, thought I add it rather than a WAA Heavyweight title or a thai fight

No prob Kevin, it wasn't my intention to bash or put the league or people running it down. Its a great league and it's fun! I was just curious if I was missing something in that Ling/Joseph fight. I thought maybe those of you in England (or close to it) would know more about it than I would. Since I really don't get to see much of the UK guys fight.

Keep up the good work!
