Quick Poll Question re ticket purchase PLEASE VOTE THANKS

Post by Jeff Thomas »

Hi just interested in finding out how many of you attend boxing shows- can you please vote for me. I know many here don't need a ticket for whatever reason so please only vote if you actually buy a ticket.

Cheers in advance

Im at all are home shows and attend a couple of others to watch friends.. Only close friends though..I easy attend over 6 shows a year.. :TU:

I swear also this sport is crying out for a weekly show or a 24/7 or even 360 type episode series!! It would be a massive thing and the answer to more fans coming back into the boxing world, Let the fans get to know fighters and follow there stories and careers... :TU:

I watched a UFC bill the other day and it was terrible on paper BUT after watching the countdown I found myself watching the full show!! If I never saw that countdown show I would never have tuned in, Boxing needs to take note!! The boxing prospects channel the lads also had going was a breath of fresh air it really was.. :TU:

bingo! boxing needs a magazine show, a Bunces Boxing Hour type thing - SKY used to have it on a Thursday and should take that up again.

Like you said a 360 or 24/7 show gets people interested - my missus will watch a fight if there has been a 24/7 and can buy into the story and the characters - previous to this all I used to get from her was "ahh not boxing again" or "I cant stand his face" (Junior Witter).

A weekly magazine show can build personalities and makes fights a lot more interest for casual fans.

I also think there is mileage in cashing in on the growing interest in people training at boxing gyms who are neither amateurs nor ever likely to be pros but who just love the training

Been to all Prizefighters this boxing season plus Audley bill, going to Williams v Daws. Also been to a Maloney show. Used to go to big Warren shows but had so many pullouts at ones I went to become a bit cautious on buying.

Been to three this year so far.

Went to the Mitchell/Katsidis show, which was very handy, as I'm from East London, along with being a season ticket holder at West Ham.

Took in the Wembley show which also boasted Kev Mitchell on it, along with the other FW prospects.

Also took in a show back in January at Brentwood, which was headed by Ian Napa. Mainly went to see George Groves, though.

I normally only go for boxer's I have a keen interest in. Only attended three shows in the whole of last year.

So, I selected the 3-5 option.
