There is not enought interest for SKY to put PBF Vs Pacman on PPV.

Its a big fight, but no Brits involved = NO PPV for this one.

They may throw it into the bargain with HAYE vs HARRISON PPV, but thats about it.

The money they will make from, HAYE VS HARRISON will more than pay enough for them to throw a bone to GBP, also remember GBP have an interest in HAYE ( HAYE IS A GBP FIGHTER) and GBP know the benefits of throwing this fight ( PBF VS PACMAN) into the SKY MIX for free.

Were DLH/PBF PPV here? PAC/COTTO? PBF VS MOSLEY? Don't think they were?

DLH-PBF was, actually. As was DLH-Hopkins. The other two you mention weren't, but then everyone surely knew that they weren't international-calibre PPVs (i.e. limited interest outside of regional markets in the US); internationally they were appetisers for the Big 'Un.

I'm not going to pay £15 to watch Aduley get KO'd within a round. It'll have to have a decent undercard. Or be split with a PPV event from the USA.

Isn't boxing banned at the Albert Hall though?

de la Hoya v Mayweather definitely wasn't PPV here. It was de la Hoya v Pacquiao that was PPV, mainly because it was attached on the back of Khan v Fagan.

Wasn't DLH v Hopkins a PPV on Setanta rather than sky? This would be before they launched as a full-time channel I think. Not toally sure on that one.

Seeing as Mayweather-Marquez was originally going to be PPV before it was postponed, I have no doubt this Mayweather-Pacquiao will be too. Can't see Golden Boy, Arum and Mayweather selling it cheaply. Neither can I see Sky setting in stone a November 13 date for Haye before Mayweather-Pacquiao has even been announced.

DLH v Hopkins was Sky Box Office, no idea about DLH v Mayweather. But lots of things like Tyson v Etienne were. There is much more interest in this fight.

On the Albert Hall subject, boxing is not banned at the Albert Hall.

The entertainment licence for the Albert Hall does not currently include boxing (or wrestling), but they could apply for it to be changed. When they did that last time, it was approved by the council, but a group of local residents won an injunction against the change on the basis that public consultation had not been long enough. The judgement didn't say anything about the rights or wrongs of boxing at the Albert Hall, that was just the ridiculous sensationalist way it was reported by an agency reporter. The problem is easily sorted by having a longer public consultation.

Lets not get too excited about a fight that will be over in the first round. Haye wont waste time putting this clown away. OK I may be wrong 2 rounds max.

Haye will inflict a beating on Harrison. In his last two fights Haye has taken a more cautious approach and utilized a lot of movement. Basically, he has been boxing smarter against bigger men instead of taking the reckless approach that has characterized much of his career. Against an opponent as poor as Harrision, Haye can get back to his roots and aggressively bomb out an over matched opponent early.

Jack Solomons, Mickey Duff, Joe Jacobs, Doc Kearns, F rank Warren - none of them could have brought back Audley Harrison from a loss to limited Belfast brawler Martin Rogan in December 2008 to the mantle of world heavyweight title challenger on November 13, when Harrison challenges David Haye for the WBA title in this country.
The reluctant, almost petrified Harrison linked up with promoter Barry Hearn after Rogan outworked and outgamed him over 10 rounds in Manchester, picked up three wins in one night in Prizefighter heavyweight last year, and suddenly found himself fighting for the European title against former conqueror Michael Sprott earlier this year in London. It was a smart move by Hearn. Harrison, who had been poleaxed in three rounds by Sprott, faced up to his fears, struggled with them for 11 rounds, then suddenly broke free with a last-round knockout. The Harrow giant had finally come good.
Harrison will be 39 by the time he steps in the ring with the heavy handed Haye, who will be 30 by contrast, a good age for a heavyweight, the same age as Larry Holmes when he punished Muhammad Ali on a depressing night in Las Vegas in 1980. His chances are slim but Haye, a Bermondsey man with all the bravado, power and aggression so lacking in southpaw Harrison, is looking ahead to showdowns with the Klitschko brothers, a dangerous thing to do in boxing, and his history against southpaws is not particularly great. Jim Twite flattened him in the amateurs while Lee Swaby was seemingly given the runaround before Team Haye ducked him altogether; Haye did take out Alexander Gurov in 45 seconds, the only southpaw he has faced as a pro, which does tend to drive a sledgehammer through any case for Harrison.
Haye is a man with a plan. He wants to unify the world heavyweight title against those Klitschkos, just as he unified the world cruiserweight title, but he wants them to grow older first. Sugar Ray Leonard waited years for Marvin Hagler to show his age in the John Mugabi fight before he came back to beat the faded Marvelous one. Haye kills time by feasting on the unlikely Harrison.
