He used to work for a company in London as sculptor restorer mainly restoring British heritage statues etc. but I don't know if he's still doing it. Anyway, the fight was no more of a disgrace than many heavyweight bouts of recent years.

While I don't think the lad is that good --& I laugh especially hard at those who go on about him "developing power" as he gets older (because he's really going to start standing properly to get his bodyweight on his shots, isn't he? That of course, comes with age)-- I feel I must object to those who would denigrate him too harshly. He's only ickle & will be around to annoy a certain type of poster & get involved in some sloppy entertaining mauls for a while yet.

What do you want on Friday Fight Night, Tyson-Holyfield every week?
No but I expect to see guys turn up in condition. The lower weight fighters always put the effort in, why not the heavies? As the so called blue riband divison, they have a responsibilty to maintain the credibility of the sport. Someone on a basketball scholarship in a US university would get reamed if they tried turning up in that condition. A pro player would get sacked.
Some HWs simply don't have the discipline because it isn't necessary to get the paydays. By the way i dont think that Shaq is unemployed (7 ft 1 but 23+ stone) http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/7129586//

Whilst neither were 'body beautiful' - it's the fitness underneath that counts.

Some fighters look tremendous but cannot keep up the pace of some of the smoother looking, less ripped fighters out there.

Both expended a lot of shots for a heavyweight fight. A Klit fight is usually fought at around 1mph lets not forget.

I dont think mcdermot could be a cruiserweight, but should be able to drop 3 stone easily i agree.

fury has no shape & probably like mcdermot has a bad diet, as they dont have to cut weight.fury's only 21 & has time for the penny to drop unlike mcdermot who's never gonna learn.
