How come Michael Moorer & Gerald McClellan weren't at the 88 olympics?
What divisions where they competing in at the time & who beat them? They are the right age & made their debut at the time to be in the mix.
I know Gerald beat RJJ at some point & i also heard he iced Moorer in 2 rds anyone verify this?

I wonder if Gerald McClellan could've stepped up in his 30s & waxed a heavyweight champ like Moorer & RJJ did..?
I also wonder if it is morally wrong to find a lost food-card at your place of work belonging to a colleague you kind of know, seems nice enough, but since they lost it & it has a few quid on it you keep it and spend it on cappucino in the cafeteria.

Hiya, Overhand:
There's been a couple threads in the past year or so on the Jones/McClellan amateur wars:
http://www.boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10865
http://www.boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26445
Both of which refer to a nice online article by John "Iceman" Scully that describes one of their meetings in the 1988 (it may have been '87) Golden Gloves (I think that may have been the one amateur bout which G-man won vs. RJJ - alas, apparently no film of it exists).

(The CBZ version of the Scully article has the same text but more pictures.)
I don't know about Moorer and the '88 olympics - can anybody provide details about that?
As to your moral dilemma with the ill-gotten food card, as long as the amount of quid remaining pro quo isn't too large and you think kindly of your unwitting benefactor whilst sipping your cappucino, I think the karmic balance will remain alright. ;)
