Why has an inch been shaven off Sonny Liston's height? He was bigger than 6ft.

According to all the 'Tale Of The Tapes' I've seen of him Sonny Liston was 6' 1".

Agreed SteveO. Liston has always been listed at 6'1 to 6'1 1/2 to 6'2' on all the fights I have of him.

I love how this forum has been created just so surly power trip mods can tell people with queries to essentially f#ck off. Impressive.

Any explanation for the listed height, Matt? Or is a record query to much for you to cope with on the Record Queries forum?

Sorry, I would correct it, but people do indeed shrink with age. Anyway, on the net, most sites seem to say the same, that he was 6 ft. 0.5 inch... :(
