if this fight does go ahead it will be a great match up. i for 1 will deffo go see it regardless where its at.

i see this as a 50/50 fight.

both chisora and sexton have come on a hell of allot since the last encounter, i see this being a real close fight. i wouldnt know what way to lean towards for this.

its a shame more fights cant be as close to call.

i think the local heavyweight scene has got allot of potential good fights down the line with the likes of price, fury, dallas, and others, all chasing the likes of sexton and chisora.

p.s. I know it was while ago , but I don't remember too many complaints about the stoppage against Chisora at the time....
Yes Rogan v Sexton 2 was final eliminator for the British. There was not many complaints about the Sexton v Chisora stoppage at the time as it was a relative low profile fight at the time and being in London 99% of the fans where behind Chisora and so where the commentators even tho Chisora had been out boxed and was loosing on points. Also Fwank said to both Sexton and Chisora before the fight, who ever wins becomes my golden heavy, Fwank has always preferred Chisora because of where he comes from, the fan base he had and his Tyson style look.

But it's ok, that just mean Sexton could get payback and the British all in 1 fight, plus that loss I think launched Sextons career, bringing the Southern Area, Prizefighter and Commonwealth his way.. It does baffle me tho, how Sexton has gone on to win these things and yet Fwank does almost no press releases or media work with Sexton. Chisora has had several media items on the fwank website.
In fairness, Frank tried to give Sam a shot at the British only for Sam to pull out twice (legitimate reasons though).

It wasn't so much Fwank 'giving' Sexton a shot at the British, he had earnt it, he was the mandatory and top of the pile. Fwank had no real option, the last couple of years, Fwank had put Sexton up in situations he thought he may not have come through, like Prizefighter and 2 x Rogan fights in Belfast of all places!!! Fwank had no intention of 'protecting' Sexton as I got the impression, and lets face it, Sexton was meant to Fwanks push over for Rogans launch pad into Euro and beyond, so much so he put Sexton twice in Belfast and stacked the odds towards Rogan, 2nd fight should have been in England as Sexton was the Champ. But even tho Sexton has been put in lower odds situations by Fwank, Sexton has got the grit to get through them, I think Fwank is slightly surprised by this, but even still after all Sextons recent success to climb to the top of the domestic heavyweight, Fwank still does little to promote him and get him in the media eye.

Very unfortunate reasons why he had to pull out of his previous British bouts indeed, fingers crossed all stays well and this fight goes ahead!

Chisora won't have the tools and hasn't really been tested since they last fought.
But, lets be fair, he only survived the first Rogan fight because Martin was too decent a gentleman to knock him out when he entered into some rather curious and unsportsmanlike tactics. He was gone otherwise.

Its a pick em fight, but no more than that - I have doubts about Sam's engine, he was certainly gasping against Rogan, but figure that Chisora has not really been that well tested.
