Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
Any comments, criticisms or P4P lists are very welcome.
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
although i accept he hasn't fought since march, i can't see how Paul Smith can be ommited from this list
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
Finally McCloskey gets ranked close to where I think he should have been for a long time... shame it was following his worst performance in a long time.
Well done though.

You're almost as bad as Flint Island used to be with his Enzo fetish, 90% of your posts are 'Smigga' relatedavidlemon wrote:although i accept he hasn't fought since march, i can't see how Paul Smith can be ommited from this list
'Smigga' is omitted because his last two fights were so dire he doesn't merit inclusion in the Top 100

Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
Err... Bernard Dunne is retired isn't he? And Andy Lee and John Duddy shouldn't be in a British list as neither of them are eligible for the British title.
Technically Duddy is British as he was born in Northern Ireland but that's a whole other story and I'm told he's not eligible for the British or even the Euro belt if he wanted to go for them because he's lived in America for so long.
Smigga should defo be in and where's Tony Bellew?
Also how can you have Sam Sexton in and not Derek Chisora when Del Boy beat Sexton?
Mick Jennings and Gary Sykes can't be far off top 30 either.

Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
I thought that Lee and Duddy were eligible for a British title by virture of being born in the UK, whether they should be on the list or fight for it is another matter.Wake up call wrote:Err... Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
I don't think he has done enough to earn a place yet. His British title fights were messy and they didn't convince me he deserved a place in the rankings.avidlemon wrote:although i accept he hasn't fought since march, i can't see how Paul Smith can be ommited from this list
If he can defend the British title one more time then he will probably enter the rankings.
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
McCloskey's opposition in 2009 was poor (Harrison and Rasilla) and he had no fights in 2010 before the Lauri fight.stujones wrote:Finally McCloskey gets ranked close to where I think he should have been for a long time... shame it was following his worst performance in a long time.
Well done though.
I think he was lucky to be ranked as high as he was before his recent fight.
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
Although i like the general set up of the list why keep Dune Hatton and Witter so high when they are inactive yet penalise other boxers who are probably of better ability eg Jennings out of the list. Either judge boxers on their considered p4p ability or their current achievements
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
It is close between the two of them, but I feel Munroe should be ranked higher at the moment as I feel his recent opposition has been better and he has been more active.ApolloCreed wrote:How is Munroe above Macklin?

Too high?avidlemon wrote:Enzo Mac???
He won the European title in his last fight, so I though he earned a place for that, I then decided to put him ahead of Cook as he had been inactive for over a year.
Re: British Top 30 P4P July 2010
Khan at 2 is hilarious.
He got sparked by a nobody and since has had a title shot purchased for him and since avoided anyone dangerous in his division.
